What to Expect During EXION Clear RF
Here’s what you can expect before, during, and after your EXION Clear RF treatment:
Pre-treatment
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks prior
- Discontinue retinoids, glycolic acids, AHAs, vitamin C products, and certain supplements as advised by your provider
On The Day Of Treatment
- The treatment area should be clean and free of oil, hair, makeup, cream, and lotions
- Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the treatment area
- Remove all metallic accessories and electronic devices
During Treatment
- Sessions typically last between 10 and 30 minutes
- Anesthesia is not needed, but a topical numbing cream may be applied
- You may feel mild warmth during the procedure
- Temporary redness, swelling, or small crusts may occur but should resolve within a few days
Post-Treatment
- Avoid sun exposure until the skin has fully healed; always use broad-spectrum sunscreen
- Avoid activities that cause skin irritation for 24-48 hours
